The Alps Best Kept Secret
Updated: Jul 27, 2018
So, as I’ve already said, I have just come back from a family holiday and we went to the Alpes. Now... I know what you’re thinking “but it’s not winter”, “it’s not skiing season” yeah, I know but the scenery there is stunning and there’s more to the Alps than just ski runs!! Here are a few pictures to prove it:
As the Alpes are closer to the equator that the UK, then the towns at the bottom of the mountains are hotter than it would be in the UK. Because of this lovely fact, I managed to come back with a tan, which to be fair doesn’t take much!! There was a lake nearby and we spend a good couple of days relaxing, tanning and reading. There were also a tone of cute little villages up on mountainsides which had the best views!
So, we spent a week in the Alpes, in a town called GAP (yes, like the shop!) and then a couple of days in Marseille. I had so much fun but I dreaded the fact that when I got home it was back to a 6 am start!
I will to a propped diary entry, as it were, at a later date, but this is just an over view of what I was getting up to!
